Refilwe Thantsha

I started my career at a small TMC in 2007 straight from college and then got the privilege of being part of the FCM brand. After joining FCTG 11 years ago, I have been fortunate to grow within the organization – starting as an administrator for the Estee Lauder account in-house.

I was motivated to grow, learn the processes and expectations of a Travel Manager, and then made a life-changing move to Head Office to start my portfolio. My personal growth and development journey continued as I climbed up the ranks to an Intermediate then Senior Travel Manager to a Team Leader.

In August 2022, I was granted an opportunity to be FCM’s Operations Leader on a six-month secondment role. Although challenging, I learned a great deal about myself. This role assisted me in enhancing my skills in communicating effectively, facilitation, and presentation skills.

I was exposed to the high level of the importance of having all system and operational needs for consultants. As FCI’s Onboarding, Training, and Adoption facilitator, I will be instrumental in achieving the brand’s goals and maximizing the Independent’s performance. Collaboration with our customers,  ensuring an improved adoption, and growing our business is what I enjoy the most.
