I began my career in travel 18 years ago, mainly in inbound travel. I was chosen to represent the company I was employed at, in Japan, marketing Southern Africa to the Japanese travel trade. I was based in Tokyo for 6 months and travelled around Japan extensively. The travel bug bit and I moved to London where I worked in corporate travel, events and for a small specialist tour operator. On my return to Cape Town, I joined Beachcomber Tours as a sales executive and later promoted to national sales manager. It was here that I broke many sales records and got to work closely with the Flight Centre Travel group. After 10 years with Beachcomber Tours, I join Flight Centre Independent as National Sales Leader. I am excited to take on this new role with a dynamic team and global powerhouse. I am passionate about building strong connections and relationships with people, travelling the world and the South African travel industry. I am fortunate to live in one of the most beautiful cities in the world and on the weekends, you can find me surfing, doing yoga, savouring the many wine farms on offer and spending time with friends and family.
